Welcome! After you complete your Roane State application for admission, you’ll be assigned a personal Success Coach at your preferred campus. Your Success Coach is your go-to person during your first year—we’re here to help with just about everything! Roane State is the only Tennessee community college that provides new, transfer, and readmit students with this level of individual service in admissions and financial aid as well as academic and career path advising. We’re here to make college enrollment less overwhelming and help you with everything from transfer credit to FAFSA submission to building a class schedule and registration.
All students have questions!
What kind of financial aid will I receive? How do I get my books? Should I switch majors? How do I fill out this form? Where do I park? How can I get help with my essay? Should I drop this class?
Don’t worry. Just text, email, or call your coach! If you prefer to make an appointment, just click your coach’s name in RaiderNet to access their scheduling calendar.
If you haven't already applied to Roane State, here is how to get started.
"We've had students say it's made all the difference.
It's kind of like having a personal mentor for your first year of college."
